The University's Transit Program offers incentives and discounts to full-time students, faculty, and staff using the Metrorail/Metrobus, Tri-Rail, and Miami-Dade “Park and Ride” express buses.

The routes connecting you to campus are Route 48, Route 56, Route 57, and Route 500. Acquaint yourself and find the most convenient route at the Miami-Dade County Metro-Bus Schedules.
Full-time students, to obtain your discount College Easy Pass follow the steps below. Passes may be purchased between the 20th of each month for use on the 1st of the following month. If purchased between the 1st to the 10th of a month, it will become available for immediate use.

Full-time students, to join the discount program, you will need to visit one of the Tri-Rail kiosk centers with your UM ID and class schedule for the semester. Please contact 1(800) 874-7245 to find the available times to obtain the Easy Card at the closest station near you. To cancel your Metrorail/Metrobus pass complete this Metro Rail/Tri-Rail Cancellation Form.
Make sure you enroll in the Emergency Ride Home (ERH) program through this link and receive 6 ERH vouchers when you register for your Metro-Rail commute. You must register each year.
