Since 2022, the university has provided over 650,000 kWh of free EV charging—equivalent to more than 2.27 million miles of clean driving. As demand has grown by over 60% annually, the cost to maintain and expand the program has also increased. The new fee structure ensures the program remains sustainable and accessible to all users.
